Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Your booking

A booking is confirmed only when you have received written confirmation (by WhatsApp or email) from Mykonos Exclusive Tours and any required deposit has been received. Until then, an enquiry is simply an enquiry — no payment is taken and no date is held.

2. Deposits

For most tours no deposit is required to hold your date; payment is arranged on confirmation or on the day. For peak-season private VIP and tailor-made itineraries, or for large group bookings, we may request a deposit of up to 30% of the agreed rate. Any deposit requirement is stated clearly before you commit.

3. Cancellation by you

• More than 48 hours before the tour: full refund of any deposit paid, or no charge if payment was to be on the day.
• Within 48 hours of the tour: deposit retained; no additional charge if payment was to be on the day.
• No-show or cancellation within 12 hours: the full agreed rate is payable.

To cancel, simply message your specialist on WhatsApp or email — we aim to acknowledge within hours.

4. Rescheduling

We are happy to reschedule your tour to another date in the same season at no charge, subject to availability, provided you give us at least 24 hours' notice. Rescheduling within 24 hours is treated as a cancellation under section 3.

5. Cancellation by us

In the rare event we must cancel (for example severe weather making off-road travel unsafe), we offer either a full refund or an alternative date — your choice. We will never charge you for a tour we cannot safely operate.

6. Weather

Mykonos is blessed with near-constant sunshine, but the Island of the Winds is named for a reason. Light wind and partial cloud do not constitute unsafe conditions. Your guide will advise honestly on the day if conditions affect any planned element of the itinerary, and we adapt rather than cancel wherever possible.

7. Insurance & liability

All our vehicles are fully insured and our guides are experienced professionals. We carry liability cover for the activities we operate. We strongly recommend that all guests hold standard travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, and personal belongings. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal items brought on the tour.

8. Driving

On Jeep tours where guests drive (groups larger than four), drivers must hold a valid licence and be at least 22 years of age. Vehicles are provided with manual or automatic transmission as available. Your guide leads the convoy and remains responsible for the route.

9. Conduct

We reserve the right to terminate a tour early, without refund, in the event of behaviour that endangers the safety of the guide, other guests, the vehicle, or the public. This is rare and we always seek to resolve concerns conversationally first.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any booking already confirmed remains governed by the terms in force at the time of confirmation.
